A cactus trapped in a wire fence. The thick cord is a fantastic pair of ancient Margaret Howell trousers, the heavy weight of which plays against a very light linen shirt. The marks from the removed pockets reflect the scars on the plant. The wire fence is illustrated in the hand quilting that holds the differently weighted fabrics together.
