As with the Carlo Scarpa Quilts 4 and 6, both sides of this quilt relate to the same location. The front is a representation of winter plants and lichen formed on the surface of a walled garden. The reverse traces the outline of an Artist’s Studio designed by Annabelle’s architecture practice Harty and Harty, which closes the fourth wall of the garden.
