Much like Quilt 30, this quilt is formed using a single favourite Comme des Garçons shirt belonging to Annabelle’s father, Brian Henderson, on one side and a pair of green cotton gym shorts on the reverse. The shirt, once unpicked has been reconstructed to give the negative space between the elements an almost figurative form.

The reverse of this quilt traces the square formed by the white line down the side of the shorts, which appears in negative against the green. The geometry of the square contrasts with the fluidity of the ‘figure’ created by the shirt.
