Quilt 22

Like the back of Quilt 21, this quilt came out of a trip to St Brides church, designed by Scottish architects Gillespie Kidd and Coia in 1963. The front of this quilt is a response to the internal space created by the negative entrance to the church.
Again, as with Quilt 21, the reverse of this quilt outlines the skyline of the building, but taking the perpendicular elevation of the same church. The single line illustrates the external shape of the entrance, that is described internally on the front of the quilt.
