A visit to the Brion Cemetery designed by Carlo Scarpa in Italy was the inspiration for this quilt. Tablecloths, sheets and shirts were used to create an image of the tile-edged wall in the cemetary.

The black and white back of the quilt refers to Scarpa’s door design.
