After a trip to see Haus Esters and Haus Lange, designed by Mies Van Der Rohe in 1928 in Krefeld, just outside Dusseldorf, we decided to make a quilt that described the interlocking rooms and subsequent views beyond, from the windows of the house.

The reverse side of the quilt is an abstraction of the elevation that houses the entrance to the garage.
